The latest episode of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain opens with high emotional drama and escalating tensions as Rishabh and Bhagyashree’s fake marriage arrangement faces cracks in front of the family.
Rishabh Ties Mangalsutra but Walks Away
The episode begins with Padma insisting Rishabh complete the mangalsutra ritual by tying the sacred thali (mangalsutra) around Bhagyashree’s neck. Rishabh complies reluctantly, calling it a formality. Just as he ties the first knot, he gets a mysterious call, hands the thali to Padma, and walks away. Padma ties the remaining two knots, declaring it “perfect”.
Bhagyashree’s Jealousy Grows
Bhagyashree overhears Rishabh on a call saying “Okay baby” — which instantly irritates her. They later arrive at Shekhar and Meenakshi’s Mangalasnanam (Haldi ceremony), where Bhagyashree continues to observe Rishabh’s suspicious phone behavior.

Later, Rishabh returns to the function with Nia, both visibly intoxicated, and Bhagyashree is forced to step in to control the situation. She warns him not to misbehave and takes him to a room to sober him up under a shower, leading to an awkward moment of intimacy. She pulls away and sternly reminds him of their arrangement — warning him she’ll cut his payment if he misbehaves again.
Bhagyashree Handles Sowmya’s Accusation Smoothly
As Bhagyashree returns dressed for the swing ritual, Sowmya notices Nia wearing the chain meant for Rishabh. Tension rises. Bhagyashree quickly covers up, saying she gave it to Nia out of kindness. Later, Nia openly discusses their financial deal — Bhagyashree is paying Rishabh to act as her husband to manage her family and buy a flat together.
Bhagyashree Draws the Line
Rishabh, seeing the tension, apologizes to Bhagyashree for his drunk behavior. When asked to return the gifted chain, he complies and hands Nia another piece of jewelry. In a protective tone, Bhagyashree tells Nia not to talk about her bhabhi (Sowmya), emphasizing her family’s respect and emotions.
